I’m three tangerine White Claws in, life is a complete shitshow, and it’s spooky season. Let’s do this.

I’m a touch late since the Polish Pickup site opened this morning, but these two are so worth sharing. I promise. This month’s theme is animation and there are so many good offerings this month! If you’re unsure of what the Polish Pickup (along with the Indie Pickup) is, I recommend checking out this post here. The only thing that’s changed is that shipping to Canadialand is now $5, but that’s it.

First up is From Here to Eternia from Bluebird Lacquer ($12, no cap). It is a blue crelly with a cool purple toned lean packed with green-blue shifting ucc flakies, a sprinkle of iridescent green-purple flakies and evil. It is inspired by the gloriousness that is Skeletor and it is oh. so. perfect. It goes on super smooth, even with all of the flakies that are stuffed in each bottle. It also has fantastic coverage. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

And our next lovely offering is My Spinach Puffs! from Blush Lacquers ($11, no cap), which is inspired by Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove. It is described as a medium tan nail polish with blue-purple shifting multichrome flakes and gold flakes. Sweet baby jesus, this one is pretty as all hell. It’s super opaque and smooth and very well could be a one-coater. I used two because, well, habit. I also topped this beauty with my usual TC.

Aren’t they fantastic? What have y’all snagged so far?

The Polish Pickup and Indie Pickup both opened today 11am EST, and will remain open until the following Monday at 11:59pm. As usual, shipping is a flat $3 for the US and a flat $5 for our neighbors North of the wall! International shipping is also available at cost. For more photos and links on what is offered, you’re going to want to check out the Polish Pickup Pack on FB.

And I think it’s time I take a nice and long soak featuring some spooky shows on my ipad.

Thanks for stopping by!

So, have fun, make good choices, take your meds, and drink your water. <3

  1. Beautiful swatches! I have been thinking of the Bluebird Lacquer one. It is so beautiful and I love blues. So your blog isn’t too late at all. I love Blush, but being a fair bit very pink toned person, tans like that look horrible on my skin.

  2. Well, darn it! I’d looked at the Blush’s “My Spinach Puffs!” And convinced myself I didn’t need it. But your swatches have me wanting it again . I could hop onto the site and add it to my order, but just one small hiccup. I’m Canadian and now for shipping to Canada the charges are calculated by weight. And yup! I’d be kicking it into the next shipping charge bracket adding an additional $4! This wud necessitate me buying even more polishes to make that shipping worth it and yada, yada. Went down that road last month
