Happy Friday! Narnia is cold as all effing get out WITHOUT snow, the South has snow, and I’ve been in my cozy pjs all day playing Pokemon GO. My migraine is now a dull roar, but I still feel a bit off, so not a whole lot has happened here while Mark was at work. Food should probably happen, but that requires a bit more effort than I’m willing to put forth, so here we are, blogging at almost midnight.
It looks like a lot of Southern states are seeing snow for the first time in a long while, and I know a lot of folks aren’t big on the cold and dark winter months. Night Owl Lacquer was commissioned for a bright and happy custom for the Yellow Polish Lovers Group on Facebook, and it just launched – hopefully this helps to keep away the wintery blues for folks. It’s a fun departure from dark, moody colors that we usually see around this time. I think y’all are going to enjoy it!
It’s no secret that I’m not fond of yellow. In fact, it’s my least favorite color. However, Lindsay created a shade that I’m actually swooning over. Sunshine on a Cloudy Day has a gorgeous blue shift and sparks that totally make the polish live up to its name.
Sunshine on a Cloudy Day is a bright neon-leaning yellow loaded with bright blue shimmer, aqua sparks & bright blue micro flakies. My photos show two coats plus top coat. The formula itself is super smooth and it cleans up easily without any staining or pooling. Love!
I went ahead and added a tiny bit of stamping because why not?! I used Hydrangea from Moonflower Polish as well as a Bundle Monster plate for these happy little clouds.
…I think I just channeled Bob Ross. I’m okay with that.
If you’re a member of the Yellow Polish Lovers group on FB, you can snag this polish now for $9 plus shipping.
So, whatcha think?
