Hiya! It’s time for another Polish Pickup post, yeah? I’m currently sitting between a bunch of gaming nerds at eBash while Mark works, and it’s highly amusing listening to them babble and laugh about their games. Pizza has been ordered, Diet Pepsi is in hand, and I’m seriously debating placing an order with Insomnia Cookies. That more than likely will happen at some point this evening because I currently need a chocolate chip cookie more than I need air to function. Besides, I’m still trying to recoup from the mouse incident. May as well treat myself, right?

Tonight’s PPU post features one of the most wonderful indies around, Lollipop Posse Lacquer! Karen created a gorgeous multichrome inspired by the Summer Solstice, which is also known as Midsummer or Litha. “The Summer Solstice marks the onset of summer, as well as the longest day of the year. It is a time to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness within the individual and a return to wholeness.”

Here’s her inspo photo:

Midsummer Eve is described as a holographic multichrome that shifts primarily between green, gold, and red, and is filled with a smattering of red shimmer. It brings to mind lush green grasses and midsummer evening bonfires.

It’s so completely packed with pigment that it was mostly opaque in one coat – I only added a second because I went full potato when brushing the polish on my middle nail and had to double back to even it out. It glows from within, my goodness. That red flash is d i v i n e. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Midsummer Eve will be available for preorder for $12 starting Friday, December 1st at 11am EST through the Polish Pickup. Shipping is a flat $3 for customers in the US and Canada.

For more photos and links on what’s releasing for via preorder tomorrow, you’re going to want to check out the Polish Pickup Pack on FB. You can also find everything Lollipop Posse Lacquer through the following links:

Alright. Pizza is here. Dinner time! I’ll be back in a few hours. Thanks for stopping by!

***The nail polish mentioned in this post was sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***
