Hiya! I hope you’re all having an awesome Small Business Saturday! I’ve got a swatchaton happening and older Criminal Minds episodes playing while I try to tell myself that I don’t need a slice of the pumpkin cream cheese roll that’s living in our fridge. Resistance is futile, my dudes. I am weak. So weak.

It’s time for another post featuring an indie that is quickly becoming one of my favorites – Bluebird Lacquer! Lou has a deep love for hip hop music and holos, and this collection is a marriage of the two. Keep reading for allllll the photos, info, and details on Bluebird’s sales for this weekend!

The Hip Hop Holos: Throwbacks are phenomenal! With each brush stroke, I was oohing and ahhhing all over the place. They’re all so well done and just plain pretty. I mean. Holos. Hip hop. What’s not to love?

Sumo Slammin’ Dat Ass; It’s inspired by Insane in the Membrane by Cypress Hill. Lou describes it as a cobalt blue with a sea foam glow and a purple shift. Buttery smooth formula. Gorgeous shade. Actual perfection. One of my favorites from this collection, truly. It’s super opaque in one coat, but I went back with a second to smooth everything out.

Shook Crews Running; Inspired by Shook Ones Part II by Mobb Deep. Described as a deep russet red holo. Holy mother of god, SCR is delicious. It’s vampy and sparked with holo and just so seductive. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Fessing No Guessing; inspired by Express Yourself from NWA. Described as a green to blue shifty holo. I have some serious love for this one. It’s this deep forest green that has an almost metallic finish. Ugh. So pretty! Two coats plus top coat shown here.

Killer Bees on a Swarm; inspired by Shimmy Shimmy Ya by Ol Dirty Bastard. A beautiful golden to green shifting holo. What a beauty!  It was a tiny bit sheer with the first coat, but it was fully opaque by the second. I love that gold shade that it pulls, unf.

Hell Yeah; inspired by Let me ride from Dr. Dre. Described as a light charcoal linear holo with a lavender to multi-colored shift opaque. OH MY GOD YES PLEASE LET ME BATHE IN THIS ONE. Purple and grey and holo all in one, holy eff, sign me up. Can you tell it’s my favorite?! My photos show two coats plus top coat – it’ll look sheer with the first one, but it’s fully opaque by the second one.

Stunning, right? These Throwbacks from the Hip Hop Holos are currently available. You can snag all 5 for $45, which includes shipping. You need. You so need.

Also, Lou has her Black Friday sale live until Monday the 27th. You can use code BFBIRD for 35% off existing stock. If you’re a fan of watermarbles, I highly recommend checking out any of the bros. They’re all amazing! In addition to the BF sale, Lady Bluebird is also including a free wax melt with every order for Small Business Saturday. That’s for today only, so make sure you get your orders in!

So, what’s on your wishlist? Have you already shopped?

For all things Bluebird Lacquer:

Thanks for stopping by! I think I hear the pumpkin roll calling my name, so that’s my cue to head out. I’ll see y’all later!

***The nail polishes mentioned in this post were sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***
