Good morning y’all! Oh, I’ve missed you guys! My sleep schedule is totally at an all-time low and I’m not entirely sure what sleep is. Between that and playing catch up with swatches and editing from when I was in SoCal, I’ve been a mess. Mark had to get up early for work today, so I figured I’d knock out some swatches and a post or two before some more sleep. That, and I’m working on Halloween events in both WoW and Guild Wars 2 because I like to party hard.
And moving on. I have one of my favorite brands on here this morning with some seriously beautiful polishes. As most folks know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so Chrissy from Turtle Tootsie Polishescreated this trio in honor of it and $1 from each bottle sold will go to the American Cancer Society. Awesome, right?
Never Give Up; a pastel neon pink creme polish with just a touch of scattered holo. Pink lovers, you need this. I mean. You need the whole trio, but this one? It’s a pretty damn perfect Barbie pink and that tiny bit of holo is delicious! The formula was wonderful, as always; it went on smoothly in two thin coats. It’s got a squishy almost crelly-like formula, and it dries glossy and squishy and fluffy and happy. Yep. That’s it. That’s how we’re going to describe it. My photos also show my regular top coat, Seche Vite, on top.
Strength, Courage & Confidence; a fuschia pink linear holo with violet chameleon flakies. Ohhh. Oh my. I was worried that this one would be a bit metallic because of the shade and the holo, but nope! It went on so smoothly, and was fully opaque in two coats. Those flakies, you guys, holy shit. They’re perfect! I just wanna UCC alllllllll the things.
Built to Survive; a rose pink holo polish with rose gold shift and gold micro flakies. Hello, you glowy little pretty thing, you. That rose gold absolutely illuminates the base and will 102% stop you dead in your tracks. It was just a tad bit sheer because of the squishy formula, but built up nicely by the second coat. Eff, I’m in love.
All three are lovely, aren’t they? They’re all available now, both in a set as well as individually. You can grab all three full size polishes for $25 or the three of them in minis for $15. If you’d like them individually, they’re $10 for full or $6 for mini.
While I have your attention, don’t forget to check out Turtle Tootsie Polishes through their other social media channels:
Okay, okay. It’s naptime. I’m fading fast. Thanks for stopping by, y’all! I’ll be back soon™ with lots more to share!
