Good morning, friends! It’s super nice to be back and blogging, it feels like it’s been forever instead of just a week. After looking at my schedule and my vehicle being on its last leg, I decided to stay home from GenCon. I was super bummed because I just wanted to be among the dice and nerds and awesome cosplays as well as getting to see the boyfriend. Luckily, the awesome couple that introduced me to him have a second car that they’re selling, so they offered to let me drive it up to Indy for a day. I followed them yesterday (lolthatwasfunbeingblindasabat) and then drove back early evening. I am still exhausted as well as adjusting to my new glasses. Which, naturally, is exactly why I’m up and blogging AND editing at 6:30 in the morning.

Anywho, I’ve got some neon goodness from Necessary Evil Polish as the perfect way to wrap up the summer! One of these y’all have already seen, but since it’s from the California Dreaming collection, I wanted to bring it back to show it with the rest of the set. So, that’s what we’ll do, yeah?

First up is Hella Rad, a neon purple that’s splashed with various sizes of holo and loads of bronze UCC flakies and gold metallic flakies. Holy balls, y’all. This one is definitely fitting for its name. This is the most perfect shade of purple, and the bronze flakes are absolutely divine paired with it. It was pretty opaque in one coat, but I went back with a second. No issues with the flakes settling, folks! NONE. No fishing, no curling, nothing.

Gag Me With a Spoon; a bright ass neon blue with loads of holo shard flakies and other various holo yummies. My goodness, what a killer blue! I would love to swim in this one, especially with the holo sparks! Just two coats and top coat here, and everything settled beautifully.

Grody to the Max; an ultra neon green with metallic blue flakies and holo of all sizes scattered throughout. Delightfully opaque in two coats and the metallic flakies are hella neato. I was a bit worried that the flakies would add texture, but nope! Even though they’re large, they were flush against my nail and shiny as all get out.

Totally Tubular; a neon yellow with fuchsia metallic flakies, magenta micro-flakies, and scattered holo. GUYS I FOUND A YELLOW THAT I LOVE. This one is much more sheer than the other four, but I still only needed two coats, even with my VNL. The last photo I’m adding will show it over one coat of white just to see how it pops, but truthfully, both Tee and I love it by itself! Those flakies, oh my god. I am dead, trufax.

Yep. Gonna paste what I wrote in my last post. DON’T JUDGE ME.

Hella Bay Area; neon orange with scattered holo and blue flakies. I’m going to start a petition to have Tee include “hella” in each of her polish names. The twang may be strong with me, but so is the hella. This polish, though. You guys. It’s perfect and mostly opaque in one coat. I went back and added a second, but moreso out of habit. I’m absolutely in love with this shade, and I feel extra cute with it on!

Ugh, this whole collection. My dudes, it’s amazing and has me pining for SoCal something serious. They’re perfect to end summer, and are available now! You can get them individually full size (15mL) for $9 each, or grab a mini (5mL) set of all 5 for $26. Not bad, yeah?

Tee’s shop can be found here,, and don’t forget that Necessary Evil Polish is also on Facebook and starting out on Instagram, too!

So, do you have a favorite? I think I’d have to go with Hella Rad or Gag Me with a Spoon!

And with that, it’s totally bed time for me. Thanks for stopping by! Make good choices.

…or something.

***The nail polishes mentioned in this post were sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above!***
