I’m not sure what to tag this one as. It’s not so much a press sample as a gift, but still. DISCLOSURE. Either way, I’m baaaaaaaaack. I’m on my last day of work before a few days off and man, it’s been a struggle. I’m going to knock out laundry and shipping some packages out tomorrow and then my ass is taking one hella long nap. May go get a few watermelons, too. Yup. That sounds like the perfect time off. Sleep and watermelon and movies. YAAAAASS.

Before the sleepening and the laundering happens, I’ve got a gorgeous grey to share with y’all that’s only available through August 7th. Because I love alllllll of the grey polishes, I created a facebook group, which can be found here. Lindsay from Night Owl Lacquer and LA S. (another nail lacquer lover!) also help wrangle in the fanatics. Welllll, we recently held a giveaway and one of the prizes was this incredible grey that Lindsay made as a one of a kind (or… 4OAK since she made all of us admins one as well) for the winner. It was so well-received that Lindsay offered to open it up as the first group custom and that’s what I’m here to share this evening.

That was a mess of a paragraph. I really tried, truly. Failed, but we’re gonna roll with it. You’re here for pretty pictures, not babbling, yeah? Yeah. So. It’s Greyt to be a Fanatic is so dang pretty that I can look past the goofy ass pun (I have a coworker that lives SOLELY to send me puns, he’s lucky I adore him and I’m in love with his bestie). ALL PUNS ASIDE, I’m head over heels in love with IGtbaF. It’s described as a grey creme with copper shimmer, turquoise sparks, scattered holo and holo flakies. It’s similar to NOL Autumn Winds. Like. AW on crack. With flakies. And holo. You sold, yet?

This was also a one-coat wonder for me. The formula was a bit on the thicker side, but it wasn’t problematic at all, I would totally chalk it up to the flakies in it. My photos show it with one coat and seche vite on top. Y’all, I am effing dead. D E D. I’m seriously contemplating painting Mark’s toenails with it at night just so I can drool over it for the rest of forever since painted toes NEVER EFFING CHIP.

…maybe not. He might leave my weird ass. Shooooooooooooot. If you can’t handle me at my weirdest, you don’t deserve me at my… least weirdest? Or something.

Ugh, gorgeous, yeah? I’ve also got some swatches from the winner, Lindsay, and LA! I love seeing how it looks on everyone! Members of the fangroup are getting their orders in and posting swatches, and I’m just so excited to see it on other nails. Such a cool feeling, truly.

So first up, is the winner! If you’re active in the nail groups on facebook, you should recognize her nails! She’s Sam D., aka @nailsbysammie_. If you click on over to her page, check out her swatches. She does some incredible artwork. ACTUAL GOALS, MY DUDES.

And look at LA’s nails! She’s got an IG, but hasn’t uploaded to it just yet. If you wanna give it a follow so you can see when she starts posting, it can be found here. I love how well you can see the shift from the copper and turquoise! Ugh, so pretty.

Last but not least, we’ve got Lindsay’s swatches! She still uploads to her personal IG, and that can be found here. I kinda really like seeing makers wear their own creations, so this makes my heart hella happy. Also. That shimmer tho. Friiiiiiig. That’s that lip-biting level of sexy right there.

It’s Greyt to be a Fanatic is available now through Night Owl Lacquer’s shop! It’s only $9 (plus shipping) and as usual, my discount code TGOB10 is good for 10% off your order! You’ve got from now until August 7th; you’re going to wanna mark your calendars so you don’t miss it! While you’re there, I highly recommend checking out the other awesome grey polishes (I mean, and everything else) that she’s made.

I hope to see you lovely folks around the Grey Nail Polish Fanatics group!

Don’t forget to check out the Night Owls Just Wanna Get Lacquered Up facebook group and Night Owl Lacquer’s instagram as well. Thanks for stopping by!
