Evening loves! Mark is finally back home and it’s SO nice. Little breaks from your SO now and then are totally fine, but I missed that man something fierce. I know he didn’t sleep a whole lot during the convention and 16hr days, so I lowered the AC upstairs down to 70, put up blackout curtains, had some Coconut Lime Verbena melting, and turned the box fan on so we could nap. He’s been asleep since, poor thing is so tired. It’s adorable, really. I figured I’d get a post or two set up while he’s sleeping before I curl back up.

And on that note, I’m back with two more polishes from Necessary Evil Polish‘s Galactic Line! Tee has been sending me packages every few weeks with new goodies to swatch, and these two might be my favorite yet. I’ve got two more to share as well, but they’re not from this collection, so I’ll share them in a day or two. You’re all gonna love them, honestly.

Orbiting (LE and only available as a mini) – $8 for 5mL; “silver-blue pigment with purple shimmer and a lot of holo goodness. This polish has also been described as a cosmic blueberry.” This one is super LE because the pigment is unobtainable, so once it’s gone, it’s gone. It’s also deliciously opaque. I only needed two coats, and they both went on so smoothly, my word. The blurple shimmer that comes through is incredibly gorgeous. It’s almost as if it’s lit from within.

Thermal Galaxy – $11 15mL; “This thermal starts off purple and then transitions to a blue-ish turquoise color where you can see all of the holo in various sizes. This polish also has a sprinkling of chameleon flakies that transition to purplish blue.” Oh. Oh yes. This is my favorite of the two, if you were to force to me pick. It transitions flawlessly and both the warm and cold state are gorgeous! I also only needed two coats, which is awesome since I’m used to thermals being a bit more sheer. And those flakies? SHIT YEAH.

Aren’t these delicious? They’re both currently in stock, so you need to grab them! Tee is currently out of the country with her tiny human (I’m totally jealous!), but her assistant will be mailing out orders while they’re still in stock. Love when indies have preparations for vacations and stuff when possible. Super neato!

While you’re checking out her shop, don’t forget that Necessary Evil Polish is also on Facebook and starting out on Instagram, too!

So, what’s your favorite? Are you loving thermals during this heat wave? I know it’s kinda risky ordering thermals in the summer, but going from California to the dead ass heat in Indiana, we’ve had awesome luck so far.

Thanks for stopping by! I’m going to curl up to my cute manthing and hopefully fall asleep relatively easily. Have a good one!

***The nail polishes mentioned in this post were sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above!***

  1. The thermal looks just like Don Deeva Cardiac Arrested and the blue one reminds me strongly of Cameo Colours Amelia. I wish the maker had done their homework first. But I have an almost eidetic memory for polishes I’ve seen and the more the merrier.
