Afternoon, loves! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend and that if you made it to Polish Con in New York, you had an amazing time! For this lazy Sunday, I’ve got a new-to-me nail polish brand to share AND they were at PC yesterday. Man. I’m so bummed I didn’t get to go, but I’ll be at the Chicago one in September for sure and I hope to see alllll y’all then!
Now if you’ve heard of Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics, you probably recognize the bottles from my photo. I haven’t tried the polishes until now, but I remember wearing their eye shadows back in the day, so it was a complete treat getting to work with Jess! For spring, JulieG has created 3 trios that are available from now until May 31st. I’ll be sharing the other two over the next few weeks, but let’s take a look at the first one!
Oh! And they’re hosting a giveaway, so be sure to read till the end of the post to find out how to enter. Or you can skip on by and scroll. If you want. You do you.
First up is Dream In Pretty, a gorgeous muted lavender. I think. I’m not sure how to describe it, but it’s gorgeous. It’s almost like there’s a tad bit of warm pink mixed in. This one had my favorite formula out of this trio – it went on smoothly, self-leveled, and only needed two coats. It’s gorgeous, seriously.
Next up, Tropical! This is a minty blueish aqua. Maybe. It’s a weird combination of all of those and so dang pretty. This one needed four coats with my VNL, but it’s worth it. The formula is a bit thin, so it doesn’t pool up, but that means it can streak a little. Once you add either the third or fourth coat, it levels out really well. Neons can be a little tricky, but these are worth it, totally!
And last but not least is Bikini, a vibrant neon coral. It completely freaked out my camera, as you’ll see in my photos. This one had the same formula as Tropical, and needed four coats, but no issues there. It’s almost like a better China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (but less orange, of course).
The three trios are available now here for $10 each (plus shipping). That’s a pretty awesome deal for some kick ass spring colors that’ll wear well in the upcoming warm weather! Be sure to snag them before May 31st!

And that’s that! Do you have a favorite? I wasn’t too sure I’d be a fan of the purple, but I’m thinking that Dream in Pretty might be my fav! Thanks for stopping by, y’all!
