Hayo! I hope y’all have had a wonderful weekend! It’s cold and rainy here, but oh so perfect for staying inside and playing Pokemon Sun! My neato boyfriend grabbed a 3DS for me as an early Christmas present so I could join in on the fun, so I’ve been playing it pretty much nonstop since Friday. Pretty sure I need to work on cleaning. And dishes. And swatches. And laundry. BUT POKEMON. I haven’t played one of these games since… well. Forever ago. Jeeze, I feel old.

Ah, but I digress. I’m over here babbling about one game when I have some GORGEOUS nail polish based on another. Ooops! I’ve got Dragonsworn Cosmetics back on here again! I reviewed Cal’s awesome Aspects Collection back in October and at the time, I also tried out four different polishes that she created based on classes in World of Warcraft. Today, I’ve got Demon Hunter to share with you fine folks.

For those that don’t play WoW, Demon Hunter is the most recent class to be added to the line up. The lore behind them is pretty neat, too.

“Demon hunters, disciples of Illidan Stormrage, uphold a dark legacy, one that frightens their allies and enemies alike. The Illidari embrace fel and chaotic magics—energies that have long threatened the world of Azeroth—believing them necessary to challenge the Burning Legion. Wielding the powers of demons they’ve slain, they develop demonic features that incite revulsion and dread in fellow elves.”

My boyfriend and I both created one and THEY. ARE. FUN. AS. HELL. Mark already hit 110 with his and he’s loving it. Mine is still 100, but I enjoy hopping on randomly and doing ALLLL THE DOUBLE JUMPS. When they added them, they also added the ability to add these neat fel tattoos to the Demon Hunters, which other characters do not have (dear Blizz, please add tattoos to character creation and customization!) and so I went with the most gorgeous purple ones (which match the nail polish perfectly, yo).

Demon Hunter is described as a “vibrant maroon holo with green glitter and a faint glow in the dark fel green shimmer”. It came out a whole lot more purple than maroon for me, but it’s gorgeous either way. And that shimmer? Holy shit, you guys. It’s electrifying. When looking at it in the bottle, I was a bit worried that the green glitters would dull it, but not at all! They added to it in the best way and they weren’t a bear to remove. Oh, and this could totally be a one-coat polish if you’re a bit heavy-handed with your coats. I used two out of habit, but it’s got amazing coverage.

My word, my purple-lovin’ nerdy little heart is beyond happy with this polish. I need to get myself a backup for sure.

Oh, and I guess I should include the character screen shots since I made my boyfriend take a few last night. He wanted y’all to see his weapons and the enchant. He’s so damn proud. Here’s his:

And here’s mine: wowscrnshot_120416_003027

This definitely makes me want to play mine and level her up more. Unf. What do you guys think?

Don’t forget to check out Dragonsworn Cosmetics on instagram for polish previews and some neat deals from time to time!

Annnnd now back to Pokemon Sun. Thanks for reading! <3
