Press sample ahead!

Good evening y’all! I totally should have had this done earlier, but I’ve been up since three AM and just spent a few hours putting together my new desk and it’s my anniversary and time got away from me soooooo I hope you fine folks can forgive me for being a bit late!

I’m so tired. Let’s hope my post isn’t just incoherent babble. If it is, I am 10000009% sorry. If not, YAY!

Anywho. I had the chance to work again with the lovely Allison from le polish on this huge project just in time for the holidays! She decided to pair up with 12 different bloggers – both vets and noobs – to create a polish with each of us to represent the 12 days of Christmas. I’m so psyched because I was able to get to interact with some of the more well-known bloggers that I’ve been fangirling over for a while now. SO COOL!

We each gave Allison an inspiration photo and she came up with some absolutely gorgeous stuff. My goodness. I’m totally biased here, but I may fancy mine a touch more than the others. I mean, can you really blame me?

The photo that I used was actually one that I took a few Christmases back, while still living in Georgia. Fresh Christmas trees each year, tinsel to the nines, and red and silver ornaments. Oh, absolute heaven. I can’t wait to take a similar photo this year, but standing with my handsome boyfriend (we were long distance last Thanksgiving and Chrismas, boooo).

BUT. When I sent Allison the photo, she and I had nearly the same idea for the polish. A spruce green shimmery polish with red and gold microglitters. HNNNNG. That being said…

On The Tenth Day of Polish, My True Love Gave to Me – Pinestraw Cheer! I chose this name because Christmas in the South is quite warm with green lawns and fresh pinestraw that folks have put out in the yard in place of mulch to make it look seven kinds of fancy. That, and even though pinestraw is typically red or gold by the time it has dried out for use, I still associate it with pine trees. Cheesy, but. I like it.

I’d also like to point out that this was totally a one coater! I added two for my sanity, but it went on pretty much fully opaque with one quick swipe.

Ugh. This polish, though. She did such an incredible job capturing what I saw in the photo and the formula is spot on. I have endless love for le polish, yo.
