Brandie from Nail Hoot recently reached out to me about trying her new Fancy Floral collection, and I’m beyond excited to share that with y’all today! Nail Hoot is a new-to-me brand and I’d been itching to get my hands on some for a while now.

Over the last month, Brandie and I have been talking back and forth about these babies while she was in the middle of a move. I don’t know how she managed to get these done, send swatcher packages, manage her normal life AND deal with a move. I’ve learned that I’m a low-functioning human potato.

Let’s jump in, shall we?

Hanging Fuchsia; “lovely pink polish with┬áheavy shimmer”. This one is noted as opaque in two coats, and it is, but because I have such a visible nail line because of other issues, I needed a third coat to hide it. I’m sure this won’t be an issue for others. :) This polish, though, my goodness. It’s so pretty and delicate. I love how the shimmer just makes it glow!

Tiger Lily; “orange with hints of pink and yellow”. You know what this one reminds me of? Zoya Autumn, but much warmer and a way better formula, in my opinion. I love it. Two coats was all it took and one coat of Seche Vite made it glow from within.

Blue Geranium; “This beautiful blue polish has heavy shimmer for a wonderful shine”. Oh my. Be still, my heart. The color is absolutely gorgeous and glowy, but the formula was a little funky for me. It was a tad bit stringy, but I had no issues. Honestly, I’d chalk it up to wonky weather. With two coats and top coat, it settled back out and I love how it looks!

Midnight Sun Pansy; “a brownish-red with a lovely sheen”. This polish is EVERYTHING I wanted Revlon’s Parfumerie Polish in Autumn Spice to be. That thing was so heavily scented that it sparked an AWESOME panic attack and I had to remove it immediately. This, on the other hand, is perfect. The depth of the shade is incredible, and I love that it’s so opaque. It pretty much was a one coater, but I did two just to be safe.

Morning Glory; ” purple polish with heavy blue tones”. Shifty. As. All. Get. Out. I’ve got an extra photo of this one to show you how it transforms based on lighting and how you look at it. God, it’s just so rich in color and delightfully inky and mysterious. Nearly a one coater, too!

This collection is beyond beautiful with floral-inspired jewel tones, and I’m so incredibly happy to have it in my polish arsenal. The formulas were pretty damn awesome, and Brandie is such a wonderful human, y’all. That, and that widdol owl is friggen CUTE.

It released this Monday, the 13th and is available now! $33.00 for the full collection with all full-sized polishes (15ml) or $23.00 for the minis (5.5ml). What do you think of the collection?

Thanks for reading, y’all! :D I’m gonna finish eating my cookies and cream frozen yog-IT’S IN MY HAIR WTF-urt and run a few instances in WoW before bed. Hope you’re having an awesome week!

Velasha OUT!
