Pretty & Polished has totally done it again, you guys! This collection, oh my goodness, I love it so. I’ve been impatiently waiting to share these with y’all, and now that it launches tomorrow (1/1), I’m safe to share my photos!

Chelsea reached out to me one morning, while I was at the dentist, asking if I liked video games, and I nearly freaked in the chair. Aside from working and painting my nails, I mostly game. We’re a nerdy household with far too many consoles and computers and it’s wonderful. Gaming is what I grew up on. It’s helped me through some dark times and also kept me sane for many years. It means so much more to me than I can put into words. So… this collection? It has to be a favorite of mine. It represents two things that mean the absolute world to me, and I hope y’all enjoy it as much as I do. Let’s get into it, shall we?

Man. As much as 2016 sucked in general, I had a pretty kickass year as a blogger. Well, and a nail polish hoarder. I won quite a bit (lolIhaveahelmerfullofuntriedssendhelp), got to go to a huge indie nail polish convention, and I had the chance to work with some amazing brands for collaborations that mean the absolute world to me. I’ve also had the chance to meet some wonderful makers and become friends with them. I’m one lucky gal, y’all.

So, since my 2016 was neato polish-wise, I wanted to host a giveaway of my own to start off 2017 and hopefully make somebody’s day,  just as the indie world has done for me, over and over.

Pretty & Polished will always have my indie-loving heart. Such wonderful people creating beyond gorgeous polishes. This time, last year, I’d ordered my first from them for my birthday. I need to break those back out, they were so lovely.

Since the tragic shooting that happened at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, they’ve been donating $8.50 of each bottle to the victims and their families. You can purchase it here. They’ll be doing this through the end of June, so y’all have till Thursday to grab your bottle. If you don’t wish to buy a bottle, you can also donate directly to the families here: https://www.gofundme.com/PulseVictimsFund.

I have some amazing friends in the indie polish community. From makers to bloggers, there’s no shortage of love. I was lucky enough to win Becky of Naked Without Polish‘s 4 year blogiversary giveaway and it’s put me in touch with some fantastic people. We had a slight issue with one of the prizes (though, there’s no complaints here – I’m one lucky gal!) and Chelsea from Pretty & Polished stepped up and sent me something extra (on top of the collection I won in the giveaway[!!!]). I damn near cried opening the package the other day. These two women are incredible, seriously.
