Evening loves! I hope all y’all had a lovely week with minimal monday-feely-weekdays. I feel like I worked a ton and yet did nothing. YAY for moving to a 4 10hr shift work schedule! I swatched quite a bit, so y’all will be seeing that stuff soon, but I also played a TON of Guild Wars 2. They recently announced the next expansion and they’re ADDING MOUNTS. The beta is up and the first one they’re demoing is A MAGNIFICENT DOGGO RAPTOR. Please hold for gifs. Because I ugly happy cried running around all day with mine. I. Can’t. Wait.

But but but I know y’all aren’t here for that. I just couldn’t help but share. Mark plays too, and he’s excited, but he’s not nearly as into these daggum raptordoggos as I am. ANYWHO. I’ve got the new Bohemian Dreams Collection by JulieG from Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics to share tonight! There’s 6 GORGEOUS cremes with LE wood-grain-esque handles, and they are, in my opinion, the perfect transition into autumn. Just so I’m not repeating myself, these are all nearly one-coaters. I went back for a second on each just to level everything out, but these are deliciously opaque in one coat.

Yeah. It’s May and I’m getting ready to show you October’s mystery polish. That’s how far behind I am on these Baroness X Monthly Mythical Mystery posts. I mean, at least y’all don’t have to worry about me spoiling shit, right? Right.

This is another one that I had swatched and ready to go before the move, as you can probably tell by my longer nails. Man, I need to figure out how to get my setup back like it was at the other house. It’s like something threw off my groove. My nails keep breaking, my lighting is meeeeeh. That’s some feng shui f***ery right there.

Afternoon! A few months back, Potion Polish announced that they were closing down and they’d listed several polishes at a lower price to clear out inventory. I panicked. Ever since I tried two from the fall line last year, I’ve been in love. Such beautiful polishes, perfect formula, and a ton of holo packed in. I was devastated. There were two that I’d been eyeing for a few months, but just hadn’t ordered because I kept putting it off. I knew I couldn’t wait any longer. They had to be mine.

And now they are.

Luckily, for all of us, they’ve decided to continue making polish for special occasions in small batches. AW YISS. For those of you who haven’t tried them yet, seriously. Go place an order. I haven’t seen a polish from them that I didn’t immediately fall in love with.

I’m beyond happy with the two that I picked – Satin Panties and Sweater Weather is Better Weather. I’m a holo hussy from now till the day I die, and I want to dive into these. Blue and green tend to scare me away, but SWisBW is just plain stunning.

It’s finally October! Some places are even seeing snow (I’m lookin’ at you, Alaska!) and leaves turning. Now, if Georgia would get the memo about cooler weather and gorgeous leaves, I’d be happy as all get out.

If I can’t have cold weather, I’m glad that all of these wonderful indie brands are coming out with fall collections to hold me over until the South stops being too damn hot.

I’m back with another HUGE linkup with some fantastic nail addicts. This month’s theme? Favorite fall polish! It’s incredibly difficult picking just one, but out of all the indies that I own, one comes to mind as an absolute favorite for this time of year. I looked back on my Instagram feed and I surprisingly have only shared it as an accent, but I’ve used it enough that I’m halfway through my bottle.

Take A Drink, Michael was one of my first two polishes from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics and it’s a favorite for sure. This blackened bronze (and sometimes burgundy?!) holo is perfect for this time of year (let’s face it – it’s perfect for ANY time of the year!) and magically shifts color depending on the lighting you’re in.
