This summer is WAY too hot. For the last few weeks, I think I’ve been trying to cool myself down by wearing all fall colors. It’s not working, but a girl can dream, right? Right.
Emily from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics sent me a few lovelies to try out since they’ll be releasing in the next few months and holy wow, y’all. I’m in love.
Now that I’m a part of a few different Facebook groups that are centered around nail polish and the like, I’ve been inspired to try some of the nail art that I’ve seen. Some go well, others don’t. I’d like to say that it doesn’t bother me, but I’m human, and I’m easily disappointed. But you know what keeps me going?
GETTING AT LEAST ONE NAIL LOOKIN’ SEVEN KINDS OF PRETTY! That, and managing to get a nice photo of it too!
I’m pretty sure I’ve said it before, and if I haven’t, Influenster is the tits. Trufax. Take quizzes and write short reviews for things that I use daily and get free stuff to test? I’m game.
Aren’t you? I’ll leave a link and a referral code below if anyone might be interested.
The latest campaign that I was chosen for was the #NYCBigBold one. New York Color’s new line focuses on the big and the bold of the makeup world, with eyes being the main focus.
I have problematic skin. More specifically, I have weird oily and lizard-like shedding skin on my face. I am a lizard, and that concludes this post.
Happy Wednesday TGOBers! I received these little babes in the mail on Monday and had to resist digging my grubby little paws into them (I failed. You’ll see in some of the closeups) till today for swatches. Georgia has been nothing but oddly cold and snowy, so I had to wait for a morning/afternoon off to get some relatively decent daylight swatches.
Within the last six months, and with the help of Nichole from Pretty Girl Science, I have fallen head over heels in love with holographic polishes. No, that’d be an understatement. I am 103% obsessed and I’m so not ashamed. It started out with following some indie brands she’d told me about on Instagram, and the rest is history.
