Happy Friday, folks! I’m back with some awesome mainstream neons that are PERFECT for summer! Through Preen.me, I had the chance to work with Morgan Taylor for their Selfie Summer 2017 Collection and oh man, I’m in love. There’s cremes, shimmers, tiny flakies. Just, everything one could possibly want for summery shades! This is going to be photo-heavy, so I’m just going to get right to it, yeah?
There are six gorgeous shades that you can get in either duos or individually, as well as a top coat and base coat that transform the polishes into an almost gel-like formula without any lamp! They also sent me a cute selfie stick to capture all of my adventures out in the world, but if we’re being honest, I work from home and I don’t leave my house often so it’s not going to get a lot of use unless we go on vacation. It’s cute as hell, though. I’ll probably harass the boyfriend for photos with it.
Y’all. I’m tired. I’m fighting the urge to curl up on the sofa for the rest of the day. As usual, I didn’t fall asleep until close to 5am. That’s fine, it’s whatever. I needed to be up by 10, because, you see, while Mark was gone last week, I impulse ordered 6 bottles of wine with unicorns on them. It was a moment of weakness. I regret nothing. However, an adulty adult has to sigh for the package, and the delivery window was 10-2 today. 5 minutes before my alarm for 9:20 goes off, I hear banging on the door downstairs. Maintenance. You know why? Our light fixture flipped out and starting blowing bulbs within just a few minutes of them being on. I put on the order that we’re okay with them walking in if nobody answers. Dudebro comes in at 9:15 in the friggen morning and just starts SCREAMING to get someone downstairs. Repeatedly. THAT’S COOL.
Hobie, one of the roommates, went downstairs to have the dude hakuna his tatas because I was searching for clothes to make myself look decent, and figured he may as well get ready for work. As he went to leave, he noticed that someone threw a big ass rock at his windshield. Funny that it’s just a few weeks after my window was broken in the same way. So now I’m up, waiting for UPS, eating cocoa crispies and trying to not fall asleep. May as well get a post up, right? At least I’ve got some gorgeous neons to share! They’ll for sure brighten up anybody’s day.
Okay, okay. Enough babbling. I’ve got the 3rd trio from the JulieG Spring polish line from Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics. Dang, that’s a mouthful.

Happy Monday loves! I’m sorry for the absence, I kinda took the last few days to relax and sloth it up while the boyfriend was away for work. Many tub journeys were had, I can tell y’all that. But he’s back, and my heart is full. Ready to get back into our normal routine, y’know? I’m back to start the week off with some gorgeous summery, springy, pastely neons!
A few weeks ago, I shared the first Spring trio from JulieG, so now we’ll go ahead and take a look at the second one. These colors are actually quite friggen pretty. I’m a broken record, I know, but cremes aren’t my thing. Usually. These are slowly helping to change my mind (well, these and our beloved indies).

Afternoon, loves! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend and that if you made it to Polish Con in New York, you had an amazing time! For this lazy Sunday, I’ve got a new-to-me nail polish brand to share AND they were at PC yesterday. Man. I’m so bummed I didn’t get to go, but I’ll be at the Chicago one in September for sure and I hope to see alllll y’all then!
POKEMON GO. YOU GUYS. MYSTIC. REPRESENT.
Uh. This may or may not be why I haven’t posted. My bad, y’all! But but but. In my #GoddessVoxBox, I was sent a Sinful Colors polish for review so that’s what I’m going to share today!
Remember when I said that I wanted Middle Georgia to catch up with the rest of the country’s cool weather? Yeah. I take that shit back. We’ve yo yo’d from 90 degrees down to 55 and back up and I now have what feels like the plague. I guess I shouldn’t be catching up on Fear The Walking Dead as I feel like death warmed over. Oh well.
I was so damned excited for the new season of The Walking Dead that I decided it was time for a real zombie mani. I spent a little too much quality time with fireball the night before, so this took way longer than it should have. But I’m in love. UberChic absolutely hit it out of the park with their Zombie Love-01 stamping plate. I’ve used it almost daily and I see no signs of stopping.
Now that I’m a part of a few different Facebook groups that are centered around nail polish and the like, I’ve been inspired to try some of the nail art that I’ve seen. Some go well, others don’t. I’d like to say that it doesn’t bother me, but I’m human, and I’m easily disappointed. But you know what keeps me going?
GETTING AT LEAST ONE NAIL LOOKIN’ SEVEN KINDS OF PRETTY! That, and managing to get a nice photo of it too!
