Hey! Hi! Hellur! I’m back with Part 2 of my hugeass Polish Pickup March review, and it’s gonna be hella long. But like. In the best way.

Giggity.

But before we get into that, let’s explain a bit of what the PPU is for those that may be stopping by here for the first time, yeah?

If you’re not quite sure what the Polish Pickup is, it is monthly lacquer shop called the Polish Pickup. It’s a neat idea because there are monthly themes where folks like you and I get to vote, and then makers can choose to participate if they want. And even better? Shipping is a flat $3 to the US and $5 to Canada (as well as other international countries at cost). So, with all of the different creations, you can pick which ones you want, and then the gals over at Fair Maiden Polish will ship them your way after the preorder window.

I’ve got my pokemon leggings on, My Favorite Murder playing on spotify, and I’m ready to overwhelm y’all lovely folks with some gorgeous polishes. Ready?

CrowsToes Nail Color – STELLA! ( $12 with no cap); a color wheel in a bottle. Inspiration: Frank Stella – an Illustrated biography.

Oh, Stella, I love you so. Lauri is an actual magician and most definitely captured an entire color wheel in the bottle. There’s so much going on and it’s just this bottle of fun that is opaque, fully, on my super VNL-visible nails, in two coats. There’s also no texture, and I think that’s kickass as all get out. Photos show two coats plus top coat.

Crystal Knockout Polish – All The Lovers ($13, capped at 225); an onyx to hematite thermal polish with snow white, burnt metallic red, and platinum silver flakes, an iridescent ruby shimmer, and a subtle red glow.

Okay, so I’m gonna admit that I had NO DAMN CLUE that this was a thermal until ten minutes after I applied it. I legit thought I’d botched my mani before it clicked that only my tips looked darker. I am not a clever human, y’all. That said, it transitions like a boss. It does have a touch of texture and dries semi matte, so my photos show two coats plus top coat.

Cuter Cuticles – Drink Me Cuticle Oil ($6); raw oats, creamy french vanilla, almond milk and a kiss of honey make this a most comforting and delightful cordial scent. Careful, it may or may not make you taller! Please, for the love of all things holy, DO NOT INGEST THIS WITH YOUR FACE HOLE. Inspiration: Alice In Wonderland

I love love love CC’s nail care stuffs (you need her barrier butter. like. you needed it approximately 7 weeks ago.) and her oil is wonderful! It soaks in quickly and the scent is not overpowering at all.

Cuter Cuticles – Cheshire Grin Mani Bomb ($5); playful and as mysterious as it’s feline namesake, this mani bomb will tease your senses with blends of sweet grape and tangy raspberry, fizzing bubbles and will leave a delicate lavender tint to your water! Inspiration: Alice In Wonderland

Well. I found another thing that I plan on ordering a bajillion of, because these are amazing. I most definitely do want in bath bomb size. SO MANY GOOD SMELLS.

Cuticula – Timeless Top Coat and Silk Base Coat, both in the scent Fresh Apples ($8.50 each). Keep your mani lasting long, shiny, and smelling delicious with this perfect refreshing combination of Cameo, McIntosh, Red Delicious, Fuji, and Granny Smith apples. This yummy smelling top coat will give you that long lasting mani that you’ve always dreamed of while adding a stunning glassy shine. Pair it with the silk base coat for awesome results. Inspiration: The Giving Tree

I love these. So. Dang. Hard. They dry quickly on me and the scent lingers for days BUT it is not overwhelming. love love love.

Delush – Sting or Be Stung ($10.95); a blackened jelly, infused with illusive color shifting flakies accented with sparks of fiery red and silver holo that are as fierce and captivating as the inspiring anti hero. Inspiration: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Another first for me! Delush makes some gorgeous gorgeous crellies that look juicy enough to bite into, and SoBS fits that category as well. The base is also super opaque and only needed two coats plus top coat. Also! No texture, which is fantastical.

Dollish Polish – Blood Like Liquid Fire ($12); deep crimson with metallic shimmer. Inspiration: The Vampire Lestat

BLLF would make Lestat proud, I’m sure. It’s inky and broody and the perfect deep blood red. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaat wasn’t creepy at all, Jenalyn. Good job. My photos of this gorgeous polish show two coats plus top coat.

Dollish Polish – Dusty Coffin Cuticle Oil ($6.50); a blood orange scent, with notes of moist earth, vanilla musk, spiced clove, aged mahogany wood and just a hint of death and decay. The perfect scent for the undead!  Inspiration: The Vampire Lestat

This. Smells. So. Good. HNNNNG. I have no idea what I was expecting, but I’m so in love with it. The oil soaks in quickly and makes my skin feel so so so soft.

Don Deeva – CATastrophe ($13 capped at 250); a red to colorless (white) thermal with a teal shimmer, UCC flakes and holo flake running throughout. Inspiration:  Dr.Seuss – The Cat In The Hat.

Be still, my heart! Danette knocked this one out of the park! I love that the warm state is an opaque white, because it’s the perfect Dr. Seuss Polish when it’s transitioning. I LOVE it! My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Dream Polish – Polyjuice Potion Gem Glam Top Coat ($8.95 capped at 75); a delicious blend of lilikoi, strawberry, melon and grapes…this scent can imitate almost any fruit scent you imagine.

Dream Polish – Polyjuice Potion Gem Glow Cuticle Oilt ($8.95 capped at 75); the scent matches that of the top coat.

I love these two! The scent is so so yummy, and they both work super well. I love how glossy the top coat is, and the oil is delicious. I mean. To the nose. Not the mouth. Don’t eat.

Ellagee – Book Themed Zippered Bag ($12); This zippered bag with a Polish Pickup exclusive design is perfect for carrying your on the go manicure essentials. It’s 9”x4”, spun polyester poplin and machine washable.

Ellagee – Nolite Te Bastardes Carboundorum ($12); A rich, deep red with red shimmer and bright red translucent flakes. Created with a velvety matte finish but also looks delicious with a glossy top coat. Inspiration: Margaret Atwood’s book, The Handmaid’s Tale

Delicious is right, my dudes. I love it matte, but glossed up and I need a cold shower. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Emily de Molly – Long Road Trips ($12 with cap of 400); a beautiful teal green holo with lots of gold shimmer and copper flakes. Inspiration: Peek-a-Boo Forest

One. Coat. Wonder. This is my first EdM and I’m legit in love. It goes on so smoothly, and has no texture issues whatsoever. I love the rich shade that it is, too! Photos show one coat plus top coat.

Fair Maiden – You Do It Too ($11); multichrome that shifts green-golden-copper-magenta in a plummy-red toned base with holographic glitters in silver, copper and emerald and iridescent glitters that shift green-gold-red. Inspiration: The beloved and informative childhood favorite ‘Everyone Poops’

1. the name. 2. LOOK AT THIS MULTICHROME DELICIOUSNESS. Holy mother of balls, it’s so pretty! It changes color depending on the lighting and it’s magical. M A G I C A L. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Fair Maiden – Masked By Maidens | ‘You Do It Too’ Toilette Spray ($6);

Inspiration: the informative and classic childhood book ‘Everyone Poops’ – also an accompanying item to the Fair Maiden contribution polish of the same name

Description:

Just a spritz or two
Right before you go poo-poo!

Our classical scent of lemongrass, lavender and peppermint will freshen up your bathroom. Spray right into the water before you go and flush it all away when you are done!

I live in a house with three guys. Lord help me. This spray, as goofy as it is, works pretty well. My nose has been spared, and I smell good smells instead of the things that they all brag about.

Fanchromatic Nails – Think Only Beautiful Things ($12 capped at 160); deep berry jelly polish with an array of different holographic flakies and microglitter, which especially flash gold or green in some lights. Inspiration:  Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood

Be still, my heart! TOBT is the polish of my dreams, y’all. It does dry with a little bit of texture, so I used two coats of polish and of top coat BUT I’m also super sensitive to textures, sooooo YMMV.

Fanchromatic Nails – Sassanach Healing Herbal Salve Bar ($8 capped at 60); a vegan, all-natural lotion bar, infused with a blend of healing botanicals which were all mentioned in the Outlander books. This infusion gives it a unique, rich warm scent of herbs and spices.

This bar is SO good! It makes my skin super soft and is the best to use after a super long day at work.

Femme Fatale – Triune ($12.50); a cool toned royal purple with pink gleam and scattered holographic flecks and microglitters. Inspiration: The Three Worlds Cycle by Ian Irvine. In particular, the cover of Dark Is The Moon, the third book in The View From The Mirror quartet.

Hi Triune, I love you. So so much. It’s so glowy and bright and the bestest color to exist. Just sayin’. It did dry matte for me, so my photos show two coats plus top coat.

Fiendish Fancies – We Feed the Fire ($11 capped at 15); a pink with violet shimmer, a hint of holo, copper, gold and turquoise flakes and a purple flash. Inspiration: Clive Barker’s “Sacrament”

Perfect. Pretty. Pink. It applies absolutely beautifully and those flakes are totally rad. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Forty Winks Jewelry – Little Lightning Girl earrings and pendant (earrings $8 – capped at 30 pieces available for 12mm and 20 pieces available for 14mm – pendant is $12 and capped at 45).

Silver plated zinc alloy earrings, availble in 12 mm and 14 mm. French lever style clasp. Marbled with 6 indie lacquers. One of a kind, no two will be exactly alike.

One inch round stainless steel pendant marbled with 6 indie lacquers. Includes an 18 inch silk cord with 2 inch extender, clasps are alloy. No two will be alike.

Y’all. These make me feel so cute. Cute enough to put my face on my blog. Wooow. You should feel honored. Or something.

Girly Bits – As You Wish ($13); a blackened teal base (which reads quite brown on the nail after 2 coats) and added a copper to green to gold multi-chrome shine, prismatic holo flakes, fine deep copper metallic flakes, and multi-chrome flakes that shift through green and pink, to copper and gold.

[LOUD, INAUDIBLE EXCITED BABBLING] SO EFFING GOOD. My photos show two coats plus top coat of this amazingness.

Great Lakes Lacquer – Time is a Face on the Water ($12.50); a metallic sky blue multichrome holographic, featuring strong shifts from lavendar and pink to orange and green. Inspiration: Stephen King’s Wizard And Glass, the fourth book in The Dark Tower series

I’m pretty sure this polish is exactly what it looks like when doves cry. Mariah, you wonderful human, you killed it. And now I need to check this book out because I mean, anything that inspires something this pretty has to be amazing. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Heather’s Hues – The Deepest Kind of Love ($12.75); an iron blue base with a teal/blue/emerald/red-violet shimmer and iridescent flakes, sprinkled with just a touch of gold/green chameleon glitters. Inspiration: ‘Where the Red Fern Grows’ which is one of Heather’s all-time favorite books (and one of the many reasons she has four dogs!)

Oh. My. Lord. It glows! Like, it glows as if it’s this powerful gem, and I didn’t want to take it off. YOU CAN’T MAKE ME. Anywho. I love it. And you need it. My photos show two coats plus top coat.

Heather’s Hues — Fern & Champaca WiTS lotion ($5.50 capped at 100); “Fern & Champaca” scent (a blend of magnolia, apple, and gardenia is complimented by woody and green notes to create this fresh, clean scent perfect for early spring). Inspiration: Where the Red Fern Grows

THIS SMELLS AMAZING. It also moisturizes so damn well. Holy mother of sweet baby jesus. It’s hydrating.

Are y’all hyped yet? I am! Do you have a favorite here?
