November 2017 Polish Pickup | Moon Shine Mani

Press samples ahead!

Good morning, my loves! I can’t believe it’s already November. Halloween went by way too quickly, and I’m going to miss it, but I’m looking forward to the upcoming holidays. And the food. Mostly the food.

mmmmmmmmfood.

Right. So! I’m back with another beautiful polish that’ll be available through the Polish Pickup this weekend! This one is from Phoebe over at Moon Shine Mani, and bloody hell, I’m digging it. It totally fits in with the fandom theme, too!

For her fandom, Phoebe chose the wizarding world of Harry Potter and y’allllll. My muggle ass wasn’t prepared for how amazing this polish is. She used the following photo as her inspiration and I may be a bit biased, but I think she matched it quite well.

The Department of Mysteries is described as a rich, green-leaning sapphire linear holographic with shifting chameleon flakies (teal/blue/violet), blue holo flakies, aquamarine holo and iridescent blue glitters, and a dusting of scattered silver holo. It’s can be opaque in one thick coat, but I opted for two thinner ones just out of habit. It can be a tiny bit textured with all of those glitters and flakies, but a thick top coat (like seche vite) will smooth it over super easily.

Hello, you beautiful blue stunner, you. I think The Department of Mysteries might just be my favorite from Moon Shine Mani yet.

I mean, come on. Look at that holo flame! It’s just so ridiculously pretty that I can’t even. Only odd. That’s all I’m capable of as I stare lovingly at my bottle.

Lovely, yeah? This one will be $12 a bottle through the Polish Pickup AND shipping is a flat $3 for US and Canada folks, which is pretty neato!

For more photos and links on what’s releasing for preorder this Friday, you’re going to want to check out the Polish Pickup Pack on FB. You can also follow Moon Shine Mani through the following links:

And with that, it is nap time for me because I am nodding off here at my desk. I may or may not have accidentally painted all the way up to my first knuckle because I’m out of it. Mistakes were made, but glitter and flakies are forever

…stuck to my skin.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back again tonight with another gorgeous blue for you to fall in love with!

***The nail polish mentioned in this post was sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***
