September 2017 Polish Pickup | Fanchromatic Nails

Press sample ahead!

Hihi! It’s Monday and boy does it feel like it. I’m still feeling all the feels from Game of Thrones and wishing winter would come here. We’re 25 days away from autumn and I’m pining for it something serious. I’m itching for cooler weather and the changing of the leaves. What about y’all?

Luckily, September’s Polish Pickup has a TON of fall goodness! The theme is Fall Foliage & Fun and I’m loving it. There are so many fantastic polishes that’ll be available this weekend. No, that’s an understatement. They’re incredible and I’ve got four of them that I’ll be sharing over the next few days.

First up is from a new-to-me brand, Fanchromatic Nails! I’ve been looking over her shop and I’m super excited because Lynae draws inspiration from all things nerdy and geeky and there’s approximately 42 polishes that need to be in my life ASAP.

Okay so 1. how did I not know that there was a musical version of War of the Worlds? and 2. YAAAAAAAAAAS WAR OF THE WORLDS! I saw the remake with Tom Cruise when it first came out and fell in love. Mostly with Tom Cruise, truth be told. But as he got weirder, I realized how much I really just liked the movie. It’s not a cinematic masterpiece, but I’ve watched it way too many times.

Forever Autumn is the name of Fanchromatic Nails’ September offering and she based it on the musical version of WotW. Looking at the photo, I can totally see the inspiration. She legit bottled up this photo. So good!

Lynae describes it as a “brownish olive with gold-green shimmer, and a mix of glitter in all the colors of autumn!” She also noted that it’d be awesome as a topper over similar colors or by itself. My photos show it with two coats. It was a tiny bit textured, so I added an extra coat of top coat, but that’s only because I personally can’t handle texture.

The polish itself is absolutely beautiful. It makes me think of fall in the Rocky Mountains, with all of the pines and a sprinkling of other trees that have color-changing leaves. It’s a grown up feeling color, and super elegant.

We’re going to pretend that my ring finger isn’t duck-billing in a fit of rebellion in response to a new medication and copious amounts of stress. Nope. No way. Not happening.

This will be available for $10 starting Friday, September 1st at 11am EST until the 4th at polishpickup.com! Just a reminder, shipping is a flat $3 for the US and Canada, which is AWESOME.

For more photos and links on what’s releasing for preorder this Friday, you’re going to want to check out the Polish Pickup Pack on FB.

You can also find Fanchromatic Nails on Instagram and Facebook to see everything that Lynae is getting up to! I’ll also have a few more polishes from her on my blog over the next week, you’re not going to want to miss them.

Is this one of the ones that’s on your list? Just wait till y’all see the other ones I was lucky enough to swatch. Tell your bank and your significant others that I’m sorry for what this round of PPU will do to your accounts. But I’m really kinda not sorry.

Thanks for stopping by!

***The nail polish mentioned in this post was sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***

I am a big War of the Worlds fan too! I loved the original and I have seen the Tom Cruise version soooo many times. The sound that the ships make- scary af. The only part I don’t care for is the Tim Robbins part. Otherwise, I’ll watch it whenever it’s on TV.
    Anyway- the polish is gorgeous!
