It’s almost Friday, y’all. We made it. Mostly. I’m sitting here, waiting for my pizza to cool and listening to the nerds click and type their way through video games and relaxing. Probably going to be a tub journey night. Yup. Mark’s parents just left to go back home but stopped by to hang out for a little. Was super nice, they’re an absolute pleasure to be around! I don’t have anything super interesting to share up here, so let’s get into the polish, yeah?
Ugh, I want to be there right now. I’m missing the Southern beaches right about now! But, these polishes totally help with that.
Summer Daze; A coral crelly that leans red. Hokay. So with it being a crelly, I needed three coats with my VNL. HOWEVER. I’m pretty positive that it’ll be a two-coater on everyone else, really. It’s pretty darn opaque, but my VNL is so so dark that it didn’t fully cover. But this formula is buttery smooth, my goodness. I love how easy crellies are to work with, and how forgiving they are. And this color? YAAAAS. Do like.
Hot Summer Nights; a teal crelly that has blue microflakies and blue sparks. OH MY GOD YES. This one is so friggen pretty, and absolutely perfect for the summer. Like. Sunset teal, YEEEEEES. I needed three coats for this one as well because VNL, but I’m confident that it’s another two-coat wonder. The little flakies and sparks are super cute. They’re not overdone or too sparse and add just an extra pop of shimmer.
And last but not least is the cutest glitter topper, Summer Storm which is a clear base with fine holo silver glitter, black lightning bolts and silver holographic lightning bolts. I’m kinda super excited, I didn’t have to fish for the lightning bolts at all with this! My swatches show just one coat over the two crellies and top coat. Such a cute addition to the colors!
And now! and now and now and now for the part that I’m most excited for. THESE WATERMARBLE. I told Connie as soon as I opened up the package that I thought they’d marble and YEP. THEY DO. My photos show them marbled over just one coat of Bluebird Lacquer’s Light Matter. They spread easily in the water and were super easy to work with!
UGH SO COOL! I would also like to let it be known that I did NOT get nail polish everywhere during this arting attempt. Just sayin’. No, I apparently saved that for stamping, which y’all will see tomorrow. Ooops.
Anywho. These are available now for preorder. They’re only going to be sold as a trio, but you can snag them here for $25.00. They should start shipping out by July 7th!
So, whatcha think? I’m for sure loving these three!
And I am outtie! Time for pizza and then a bubble bath. Thanks for stopping by, y’all!
