Press sample ahead!

I uh. I’m back with a post that totally could have been done MONTHS ago, but when the move happened, I spaced on sharing some of these Monthly Mythical Mysteries from Baroness X. I’m the kinda gal that will swatch something as soon as I get it, just to have it done. Editing? Hah. That’s another story. These photos have been done since September, probably the week before I wound up breaking my finger as we were moving stuff. The good news, though, is that because these are monthly mysteries, my delayed posting is totally okay with keeping the internets spoiler-free. Right? YEAH!

Back in September, our lovely Demi created a polish based on the Greek goddess named Demeter. I’m terrible with history and explaining things without a ton of word vomit, so I’m going to pop in the cute insert that the Baroness herself made for the box.

Now, as usual, I do not have the extras to share with y’all. I’m trying to think back… I don’t think they were sent in the package (I’d ordered other things and Demi sent this to swatch), but I’ll keep an eye out and update you guys if I locate them! I’m hoping to get my hands on a bath teabag at some point. It sounds divine!

This polish. You guys. It’s everything right in the world. A warm-colored linear holo with flakies? Alllll the YASSS. My photos show two coats plus top coat. I’m pretty sure I kept this on for multiple days. It’s the perfect end of summer color, truly.

Also, we totally need to take a moment to appreciate just how friggen pretty my damn nails were. They were so long and shaped well and ugh. I want that back. Now, if I shape them like that, the corners just break off. NEAT FEATURE, BODY. NEAT. FEATURE.

I am kinda sorta sad to be sharing this since it’s no longer available, but Baroness X has a history of reviving older releases and/or having folks vote to bring some MMMs back for a short order window. Now, that may not happen with this one, but maybe there’s a chance, y’know?

And with that, I am off for the day! My headache has subsided a bit, so I’m going to get out and enjoy the sunshine, even if the weather is kinda chilly today. Thanks for stopping by, my little nerdlings!

***The nail polish mentioned in this post was sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***

  1. My nails do that on one hand–as soon as they start to grow out, the corners break. But–this polish is amazing! I hope they do re-release it because I’d love to own it.
