Happy Monday, my little nerdlings! I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend! I wound up taking a day off yesterday for my sanity, and it was so needed. We wound up staying up till 10am both Saturday and Sunday because of my boyfriend’s schedule, so sleeping all day was SO lovely. I, for some reason, sleep better during the day, it’s so strange. I haven’t slept that well in what feels like months. Maybe I just need to reset my sleep schedule every few weeks. Maybe.
Anywhooooooo, I’ve got a gorgeous gorgeous polish that’s absolutely perfect for the upcoming season to share with you guys! Darlene of Sweet & Sour Lacquer reached out a few weeks back asking if I’d be available to swatch her March POTM (polish of the month) and y’all already know I was down as hell for it. I’m new to the brand, but I’ve been itching to try out her gorgeous creations since she launched. I don’t even know why it’s taken me so long. I have failed, my nerds. So hard.
So, here it is! March POTM is a delicate peachy coral creme with gold shimmer and a smattering of holo and holy wow, it’s incredible. It pulls quite pink on me with how fair I am, but y’all need to check out photos of it on other swatchers – it seriously transforms based on your skin tone. For my photos, I did two thin coats, but it was almost opaque with one coat, and then topped it with Seche Vite.
Isn’t it just to die for? It’s such a juicy color, and absolutely perfect for spring!
I also decided to stamp over it for funsies because why not? I used Bundle Monster’s black stamping polish that I recently ordered and holy shit. It smells awful AND stains. I had to cover my nose the whole time I was using it. Ugh. It works so well, but my goodness. That smell is disgusting. For the plate, I used hehe 027 from the Harry Potter collection.
Now that I see the full photos, I see where I mucked up the design a bit, but I still love how it turned out!
And now for the details! This polish will be available for purchase starting on March 3rd at midnight central over in the shop, which can be found here. Be sure to check out Sweet & Sour Lacquer on their other social media platforms, too! Darlene is a doll and is totally amazing about interacting with polish addicts like us!
While you’re over at Darlene’s shop, you should totally check out the tshirts she has made (and bundled with recent collections!), they’re so damn cute! I may have to grab one or three. She also sent another polish for me to swatch, but I’ll be sharing that in another post so this gorgeous coral has it’s own time to shine, so keep an eye out for that!
And with that, I’m off for the evening! Thanks for reading loves!
***The nail polish mentioned in this post was was sent to me in exchange for an honest review and photos, which can be found above.***
