Hey y’all! I hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday weekend! I’ve worked nonstop, but I had to take a small break to share this beauty with you guys!

Emily from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics (I sincerely hope that y’all know her by now!)  made a GORGEOUS custom polish for one of my best and oldest (don’t kill me! <3) friends, Anna.

OHOHOH SHAMELESS PLUG TIME.

Anna has recently started swatching and it’d be really really really kickass if y’all would check out her Instagram and say hello! I’m seriously excited that she’s finding such happiness in something that I love as well. We’ve been friends for just over 10 years and haven’t seen each other since 2006, but this is something that’s brought us close together even though we’re on opposite sides of the country.

ANYWHO. Emily makes incredible customs and this one has to be one of my favorites. Anna and I use the word potato probably way too often, but because it’s super fitting for mostly everything and Emily gets a kick out of it too, this polish was named Princess Potato. It’s even more awesome because Emily made a custom magenta holo for me named Potato Queen. There’s going to be some nail art with the two of them happening soon. Trufax.

Y’all ready for way too many photos? ME TOO. LEHGO. (Am I the only one that thinks of this song when someone says that? Oh, I am? Kay. Carry on.)

So, A few things about this polish:

  1. Flakies
  2. ONE COAT
  3. That shift though
  4. O N E C O A T
  5. Holo
  6. ??????
  7. PROFIT

Aren’t those flakies to die for‽

Princess Potato (2)

I’m in love with this polish. The color, with the blue shift, is just so… regal. It seriously lives up to the name.

Princess Potato (3)

Did I mention one coat? Because ONE FRIGGEN COAT.

Now, I will say that the polish is a bit on the thick side, which is why I was able to one coat it, but it wasn’t an issue. I didn’t feel the need to thin it out or have any issues with the formula being gummy. It’s seriously perfect.

I can’t put into words how appreciative I am of Emily and Anna for letting me buy a bottle of this as well. It means a ton to me, and in my eyes, represents the lameassmushy friendship that we all have. I love you nerds. So hard.

Also, you fine ass folks should check out the Facebook group for CNC! We have a ton of fun ANNND there are giveaways and shop codes shared now and then. I may or may not be hosting a giveaway in the next week or two! You can find it here: Seize The Night – Carpe Noctem Cosmetics Fan Page!

And with that, I am out. I hope you guys have a wonderful week and a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day, remembering those that lost their lives giving their all for the country. <3

Velasha out!
